Our School

Global Wisdom International School is spread over approx 3 acres areas. It boasts of a beautiful environment with well landscaped gardens presenting a dynamic atmosphere and a truly rich ambience.

The school has modern Science Lab, Maths Lab, Computer lab and a big library.

As part of its physical Education programme the school has a sprawling play field for the seniors and a seperate play ground for the kindergarten and Primary wing students. Students can play a wide variety of games and compete at the state level.

The Principal

Dr. Basundhara, Principal, Global Wisdom International School, is an accomplished academician, educational leader, and environmental advocate.

Dr. Basundhara possesses a distinguished academic background and an experience in the field of education for more than two decades, holding an M.Sc. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Mumbai, a B.Ed. from Vinay Bhavan, Santiniketan, Visva Bharati, an M.A. in Education and a Ph.D. in Education from Assam University. Her doctoral research, titled “Pedagogy of Teaching Chemistry: A Study of Computer Simulation,” highlights her innovative approach to modern science education.
Her career reflects a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional excellence. Dr. Basundhara is a Master Trainer for CBSE Capacity Building Programs and a recognised Mentor of The National Mission for Mentoring (NMM), program launched by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

She has enhanced her expertise by participating in esteemed programs like “The Joy of Making (& Breaking) Toys” at CCL, IIT Gandhinagar (2025) and the Curiosity Carnival and Curiosity Conclave at IIT Gandhinagar (2025).

Her contributions to science education are further demonstrated by her role as an Evaluator for the 31st National Children’s Science Congress (2024) and her involvement in prestigious platforms such as the Education for Aspiring India – National Science Teacher’s Workshop at IISF (2023) and Vigyanika – Science Literature Festival at IISF (2024).

In the realm of research and publication, she has contributed valuable academic work, including: Modern Educational Technology in Science Pedagogy and Human Innovation: Need to think ahead on long term future consequences, in CHALLENGES FOR EDUCATION IN KNOWLEDGE SOCIETY, Twenty-first Century Publications, Patiala, Punjab, India. ISBN: 978-93-80144-67-2 (2012), Aesthetic Perspective of Virtual Science Laboratory – A New Mantra for Educating the Post Millennials, Bayan College International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (Accepted for publication, December 2021 Issue; ISSN Online: 2102432, ISSN Print: 2710-2424).
